What to expect

During your consultation, we will discuss the reason for your visit, and review your medical and dental history. It’s very important that you acknowledge if you have any medical problems, as many systemic diseases can affect your mouth and the health of your gums. The first visit includes a head, neck and jaw joints examination, a general oral examination of all of the structures in your mouth and throat, an evaluation of your teeth, and a full examination of the health of your gums. It can take an hour or longer, depending on the extent of your issue.
